among the shortlisted entries
in the professional category of
the Sony World Photography
Awards 2022. Now in its 15th year, the
competition celebrates both established
artists and emerging talent from around
the world. More than 340,000 images
from 211 territories were submitted to
this year’s competition, with an astonishing
156,000 entries in the professional
category alone.
The winners will be announced on
April 12, with the overall winner crowned
photographer of the year and awarded
$25,000 prize money ■
