Life of Pets 2
In this second feature film of the franchise
focusing on the lives of pets when their
owners are out of sight, Max (Patton Oswalt),
a Jack Russell Terrier, sees his life turned
upside down due to his owner Katie (Ellie
Kemper) getting married. However, Max
subsequently finds comfort in the company
of a farm dog called Rooster (Harrison Ford).
FIVE FACTS:
- In the 2016 film The Secret Life of Pets,
Max was voiced by Louis C.K., who did not
reprise his role for the sequel after admitting
to sexual misconduct. - Voice actors returning to reprise roles
from the original film, however, include
Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate,
Lake Bell, Dana Carvey and Tara Strong. - Strong and Slate have both voiced
Batman villainess Harley Quinn in animation;
the former in the DC Animated Universe, the
latter in 2017’s The Lego Batman Movie. - The animation studio behind The Secret
Life of Pets 2, Illumination, is most famous
for the Despicable Me film series. - Hart and Slate have both expressed
interest in returning to their roles in yet
another installment of the Secret Life of
Pets franchise.
