The Yummy team was invited toa one-day exclusive cooking classhosted by Kenwood Appliancesand CCA Makati. The Yummyeditors were tasked to createpizza, pita bread, and pastafrom scratch, make sausages,and more. The class was ledby Institut Culinaier DisciplesEscoffi er (ICDE) Instructor ChefBruno Tirel, one of the twoFrench chefs teaching the six-month culinary program off eredby CCA, which teaches studentsto master cooking techniques.The course provides a diplomafrom the French Ministry ofEducation.The daunting tasks were mademuch easier with the helpof several Kenwood kitchenmachines: The Kenwood ChefKitchen Machine with thedough hook attachment did thekneading for the pizza doughand pita bread; the KenwoodTitanium Chef Kitchen Machinewith Pasta Roller was used tomake large batches of pasta; andthe Kenwood Multi Food Grindermade it easy to grind meat forsausages.The class was just a sampler ofthe CCA-ICDE program whichaccepts 24 students in each pilotbatch.
