Take the deck of cards

and turn over the

bottom card in the deck.

Now, no matter which

way up the deck is, the

cards will look like

they’re facing down.

You need to

turn the deck back

over without your friend

noticing. To do this, ask

them to think of a magic

word... then be sure to

catch their eye as you

flip the deck.

Fan out the cards in your

hands and ask your friend

to pick one. Tell them

to look at it, without

showing it to you.
