BUNGIE’S LATEST DLC SHOOTS FOR THE MOON
he first expansion since
developer Bungie split
with Destiny’s original
publisher Activision,
there’s a lot of pressure
on this expansion.
Thankfully, it looks like the former Halo
developer is more than up to the task. For
longtime Guardians, the decision to return
the action to the Moon is a welcome one.
The original game took great delight in
making you take giant leaps for mankind
as you shot Hive nasties, and the returning
space rock also brings with it new PvE
and PvP maps, alongside fresh armour and
outlandish Exotic weapons.
Shadowkeep serves as somewhat of a
rebirth for Destiny 2. To coincide with its
release, the base game is going free-to-
play. While that’s a big enough deal on
its own, the Light-infused cherry on top
comes with the news that the shooter
will also support cross-play progression,
meaning you can do some easy patrol
missions on PC then switch back to
