With a focus on color and light, Sally demonstrates how to
“key” a painting and create light using value comparison
for composition and rendering form. Concepts of color
relativity, harmonizing color masses, the effects of light on
color, and optical mixing of layered color are explored. Sally
poses questions you can use as tools to showcase beautiful
color and light. Painting from clothed models and still life,
each student receives individual attention and critiques.
Demonstrations, lectures and slide shows are designed to
help you achieve light-fi lled paintings with vibrant color.
