expertiseandauthoritywithinitsparticularsubject

Asoneoftheorganisation’sfoundingmembers,

APisanintegralpartofEISA’sPhotoPanel.Wework

closelyalongside 16 othermagazinesfromEurope,

IndiaandtheUSA,allofwhichareamongthemost

respectedintheirhomecountries.EachJunewe

meettodiscuss,debateandvoteforthebest

productsofthepreviousyearacrossarangeof

categories.Anabsoluteprerequisiteisthatallofthe

winnersmusthavebeentestedindepthbymultiple

panelmembers.Eachcountryhasitsowntastesand

preferences,butthereisusuallyastrongconsensus

astowhothewinnersshouldbe.InSeptember,the

winnersarepresented with their awards at a gala

ceremonyinBerlin.

longeranyseparateawardsforDSLRandmirrorless

systems.Thissimplyreflectsthecurrentstateofthe

market,andinparticularthepaucityofnewDSLRs

asmirrorlessbecomesincreasinglydominant.Over
