This shoot represents a figure controlled
in a monitored society where everyone is
forced to have the same ideals. In contrast,
my model Ivy is meant to show a unique
soul with a rebel heart who wants to
escape the cage. To better illustrate the
feeling of being caged, I placed white
plastic hangers around Ivy’s neck, hands
and legs. I also asked her to shake her
head so I could capture some motion blur.
