showcasing life in Britain for the youth of
today. It’s calling for entries from under 25s,
and aims to explore what it’s like to grow up
in the UK today. Winners will be exhibited
from the 24-27 October at the Truman
Brewery in London, and Fujifilm will donate
£2.50 for each participant to The Mix, a

Olympus gets tough

action cam

Olympus has now added the TG-6 to its range of Tough
adventure cameras. This latest entry has a 12MP 1/2.3in
sensor, 4x optical zoom lens with 25-100mm 35mm
equivalent, and f/2-4.9 aperture. There’s a rear 3in LCD
screen that offers Live View, as well as a contrast detect
AF system. Nicknamed the four-wheel drive of the camera
world, the TG-6 is dustproof, shockproof from a height of
2.1m and waterproof down to 15m. It can also withstand
weights of up to 100kg and temperatures of -10°C. There’s
even dual-plane protective glass that’s said to bolster the
camera’s anti-fogging performance.
For photographers, there’s a range of 16 scene modes,
and an impressive sounding Macro system that includes
a Focus Stacking mode and 1cm close focusing. It also
captures RAWs and shoots at up to 20fps. Video shooters
are catered for with 4K 30fps and 1080p Full HD at 120fps.
It’s available to buy now, with an RRP of £450.
