At eFrame we believe in the power of photography, its ability to inspire and create subject matter which
simply must be framed and displayed proudly. We provide a high-quality print and framing service which
encapsulates that special moment in time.
We transport your digital pictures from camera to frame in minutes, the entire process from start to finish is
incredibly simple, and there really is no stress in producing a physical copy of your favourite shots. We
firmly believe in supporting all photographers, which is why we were delighted to interview esteemed
automotive photographer Tim Wallace. Named as one of the ten most influential photographers in the world
by President and co-founder of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) Scot Kelby,
Tim has a portfolio of clients including Aston Martin, McLaren and Jaguar Land Rover.
We discovered a little more about the man behind the camera and most importantly, his top tips for
constructing the perfect photograph. In order to listen to Timís full podcast, please visit the eFrame blog
where you can learn from his proffesional experience. Tim has built an impressive reputation based upon
his automotive photography, he identifies the key to his success as his ability to interact with the shape of
cars and his comprehensive understanding of lighting. For instance, the car in the advert on the opposite
page was shot on a Nikon D5, it is one of the rarest Aston Martinís in the world. Tim was tasked with
capturing the elegant beauty of this iconic car, the Aston Martin DBR2. There are only two models in the
entire world at an estimated value of £8 million each.
Tim encourages fellow photographers to maximise the shot in question, and learn to appreciate the
environmental factors. Tim teaches photographers to work on their positioning, and orchestrate the lighting
to enhance the image in question, regardless of the camera available at the time. Tim has since been aptly
named the ìArchitect of lightî for his understanding of how it reacts with the subject matter. Over the course
of our conversation he touches upon points all photographers should look out for, but encourages everyone
to find their own style and not be led by others.
Whichever form of photography you have a passion for, eFrame remain available all year round to help
print and frame those special moments.
All our frames are custom made and handcrafted in the UK, with gallery quality print assured from our
Epson printers.
