I shot this photo in Kofa National Wildlife
Refuge, north of Yuma, Arizona while on
a monsoon season storm chase. After
following the weather west, I arrived near
the interesting rock formations of the Kofa
mountains near dusk. I was just in time
to capture the rise and fall of this thunder
cell, which was isolated from other storms
and made a very memorable subject.
