Schools benefi t from pro’s campaign
Hats off to portrait photographer Tom Oldham, who has rustled up
donations of 400 photobooks, 10 Sony cameras and two Profoto
mobile lighting rigs for two UK secondary schools after a social
media shout-out. ‘It struck me as criminal we’re not investing in
art education when there are so many beneficiaries... in the world
of commercial photography,’ he says. See http://www.tomoldham.com.

Ultra-wideangle lens
for Fujifi lm GFX
It’s been confirmed the Laowa
17mm f/4 Zero-D for Fujifilm’s
mirrorless medium-format GFX
cameras will be priced £1,
and is available to pre-order
from http://www.laowalens.co.uk.
Equivalent to about 13.5mm, the
lens is aimed at landscape and
architectural photographers.
The relative lack of frontal bulge
should make it much easier to
screw on an 86mm filter.
