Figure S3. Cross-linking Mass Spectrometry Datasets from Current and Published Studies, Related toFigure 3
(A) Network diagrams of unique inter-protein cross-links taken from the current study as well as published studies. Cross-links reported in more than one dataset
are shown in the first panel, while subsequent panels depict only residue-pairs that are uniquely found in the respective study.
(B) Summary table, showing the number of cross-linked residue-pairs taken from each study and the corresponding protein components of those experiments.
Totals (in bold) report on unique cross-links found across sources and are not simple summations due to identical cross-links being reported in multiple studies.
The current study includes 1008 previously un-reported cross-links.
(C) Distribution of cross-link distance restraints (Ca-Cadistance) measured against the final Med-PIC model with respect to data source. The model contains all
the Med-PIC components for which atomic resolution structure was placed. The red line denotes the 35 A ̊expected maximal distance for cross-link restraints.
The distribution of all possible Lys pair Cadistances for the Med-PIC model is reported in pink. The width of each box reflects the number of mappable cross-links
from that study.
(D) Tabular presentation of the source data in (C). Note that the Chen 2010 dataset did not report intra-pol II cross-links from the TFIIF-pol II study.
