6.6 Ex Vivo-Expanded MSCs

6.6.1 Media

Popular media for MSC expansion are α -minimal essential medium or Dulbecco’s
modifi ed Eagle’s medium (DMEM) supplemented with 10 % fetal calf serum FCS.
In recent studies, DMEM/F12 (1:1) has been used as basal medium for MSCs,
