Here let there be semen! Here masculine fluid
— the more purified fraction strained off from the sap—
that is sprinkled nearby on the mouths of the tubes
topping frail, minute, styles on which it is scattered

in lavish amounts! Females’ sexual organs
once watered through conduits, the spouses in public
thus couple together; nor in hearts that are floral,
will embarrassment stir at this kind of love.
