(November/December 2013–January
2014) because I don’t get to see stories
about Jewish people and themes very
ten.The folk tales from other cultures have
broadenedmy understanding of different places
andpeople. I think it’s very important for people
in minority cultures to be able to see themselves
and their culture portrayed in Cricket. Cricket has
expanded my taste in literature since the f irst
magazine I received (September 2011, with the
most beautiful library on the cover), and each
issue gives me more tales from the wide world.
They are funny, interesting, and always leave me
thinking about their message.

Dear Cricket,
Do you like country music? I love it! Some
of my favorite songs are “Bait a Hook” by
Justin Moore, “Dirt Road Anthem” by
Jason Aldean, and “Simple” by Florida
Georgia Line. Keep cool, everybuggy!

CMF, I love country music! Yee-haw!

Dear Cricket,
Last time I wrote, I was Animal Girl. Now, I’m
Queen Moonshadow, leader of the Anti-B.I.G. (the
Brazen Inquiry Guild). Animals from all areas serve
me and make sure they keep an eye by sending
“humans,” aka transformed animals, as spies
working at B.I.G. So far, I have f igured this much:
The person writing graff iti has four legs, fur, and
feathers. The codes are very short. The scientists
at B.I.G. are using/caging animals for testing. The
animals are throwing some kind of party under-
water to destroy construction of an underwater
B.I.G. base. B.I.G. has f iles for each animal. Some-
one found a map of Kyngdom.
I absolutely love your mag. The stories are
great. Some more fav stories include “Magnus”
(October 2018–January 2019), “Nobody’s Cat”
(November/December 2016–February 2017), and
“Hope on High” (September–October 2016). I
love Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, animals, music,
parties, summer, vacation, traveling, etc. Ciao!

You are all amazing poets! My vote has to go
to Leeli’s untitled poem about summer thunder-
storms. I really, really enjoyed reading all of your
poems. I can’t wait for the next theme.
