That creative back-and-forthas you whittle away at designs and key scriptmoments is the most satisfying process.``````2da: Are there any other areas in the digital artworld that you’d like to branch into and why?``````NR: I think I’ll always want to work on theproduction side of the industry but I have afew ideas for projects of my own that would bethat is uniquely “you” then you instantly becomea much more valuable person to have around.Working on personal projects is a great way to coverall the steps of the creative process, and come outthe other end with something cool to put in yourportfolio. Come up with a little story and designthe elements over the course of several images.2da: What makes a project fun for you?NR: The storytelling and the people you get towork with. There isn’t anything better than tryingNed’s significant artworkThis is a piece I did for a personal project just after I had decided to leave my studio job and work freelance. I’d taken six months off to build a new portfolioaimed squarely at the entertainment industry and I think it was this piece that gained enough traction online to make a few people notice me.
