F 1 Yellow Fellow: This is a prolific heavy yielder with thick yellow fleshed fruits
weighing 2.5–3.5 kg. Fruits set about 80 cm from ground level and flowers at 45–50
days after transplanting. The hybrid is yellow skinned, suitable for both table (home
consumption) and processing purposes for the papain industry. It produces 1:1 ratio
of hermaphrodite to female plants with all plants bearing fruits of sweet flavour. Its
TSS content is 12° Brix.
