2 Make2 cordstotietopofbag.Cut4 piecesofyarneachapprox
45cmlong.Twist2 lotsof2 strandstogetherclockwisethentwist
theresulting2 strandstogetheranticlockwiseandtieateachend.
3 WithRStogether,backstitchfrontpaneltobackpanelupthe
sidestoforma continuousstrip,asfarasthefoldededge.Withthe
backpanelcentredandRStogether,backstitchthebottomofthe
bagclosed.Threadtiesthroughcasingformedattopedgeoffront
andsecureatback seams. Continue with i-cord edging as around
flap as follows:
Using4mmdouble-pointedneedlesandYarnB,caston 3 sts.
PullyarnacrossBack.WithWSofworkfacingyou:
Row 1 K2,sl1,insertneedle from back to front of edge stitch and
drawa stitchthrough.
Passslippedstoverthenewlydrawnst.
Repfrom allaroundflap,workingintoeveryotherstitchdown
sides,everystitchacross cast-off edge and taking a few extra sts to
turn the corners.
4 Applyeyeletstothebottomtwocornersasinstructedon
packaging(itisnotnecessarytocuta hole,stitches can be eased
aparttoinserttheeyeletthroughbothlayers).
5 Sewstrapsinplaceatedgesofbackpanel,inlinewithtopof
front.Threadstraps through eyelets and adjust length. Tie straps in
knotstosecure.
6 Sewonmagneticcatchtofasten flap closed. Make a tassel and
sew in position on top flap.
