- Quality assessment with ModEval sever
ModEval will give you the same scores as the ones used in ModWeb.
Materials
- The model created by I-tasser or SwissModel. (Since models from ModWeb
use the same scoring matrix as ModEval server, submitting them would
be unnecessary) - Sequence identity between your query sequence and template sequence.
For models obtained from SwissModel, open the model pdb file with a
text editor, search for “SID” in ‘REMARK’ section (Fig. 7(a)).
For models obtained from ModWeb, open the model pdb file with a text
editor and search for “SEQUENCE IDENTITY” (Fig. 7(b)).
Beware that ModEval require an integer as sequence identity input.
Since I-tasser uses multiple templates in the process of model
construction, ModEval may not be suitable for evaluating I-tasser
