II. Load your structure file by‘load’command.
load myProtein.pdb, myProtein
You may use‘pwd’command to see where current directory is. You
may want to use‘cd’command to switch into the directory where your
structure files are stored, then use‘load’command.
You might also launch and open your structure file by double-clicking
on the structure file in your file manager if the installer supported it.
III. Use the mouse to adjust pose of the model until you feel satisfied.
Drag with mouse left button pressed to rotate, drag with mouse right
buttonpressedtozoom,anddragwithmousemiddlebuttontopanthe
view.
IV. You may adjust display style of your model with other commands. To
see all possible commands, please go to http://www.pymolwiki.org/
index.php/Category:Commands, or search ‘pymol wiki command’ in
your search engine.
