Stella Seal, MLS


Stella Seal is the associate director for hospital, health system, and community
services at the Welch Medical Library, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. She
has more than 20 years of experience providing information services to the
faculty, students, and staff of The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Seal has
presented numerous instructional sessions on all aspects of database searching
and research tools, in addition to her collaborations on grant proposals and
systematic reviews.

Christina L. Wissinger, PhD


Christina L. Wissinger is a tenure track faculty member with the Pennsylvania
State University Libraries. In addition to her PhD, she holds a master’s degree
in library and information science. She has worked in several academic health
sciences libraries, including Johns Hopkins, collaborating with nurses, allied
health professionals, clinicians, and biomedical researchers. Wissinger consults
on grant-funded research projects and systematic reviews, and conducts CE
sessions. Her scholarship focuses on literacy, privacy, informed consent, health
communications, and medical humanities.

Elizabeth Scala, MSN/MBA, RN


Elizabeth Scala is the research program coordinator at The Johns Hopkins
Hospital. In addition to assisting with the Nursing Research Program, Eliza-
beth supports clinical nurses to develop enhanced knowledge and skills in
nursing research.

Linda Costa, PhD, RN, NEA-BC


Linda Costa is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland School
of Nursing in the Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health.
