A

gainst a breathtaking
backdrop of rolling hills and
verdant vineyards, Atlético Madrid
manager Diego Simeone and
model Carla Pereyra sealed their
love in an intimate sunset ceremony
in the heart of rural Tuscany.
The couple, who exchanged
vows beneath a bower entwined
with mauve and white blooms, were
joined by around 100 close friends
and family.
Among them were the couple’s
two young daughters – Francesca,
nearly three, and seven-month-old
Valentina – who were adorable
flower girls in pale pink dresses and
floral headbands.
It was a day full of emotions,
especially when, as her parents
pledged to love and honour each
other, little Francesca tenderly took
her mother’s hand.
Reflecting her close ties with
hello!’s sister magazine hola!,
Carla has chosen to share these
beautiful pictures from the couple’s
private wedding album with our
readers as a gift.

CASTLE OF DELIGHTS
This was the second celebration for

in a low-key civil service in their
native Argentina.
For their special day on
7 September, the happy couple
chose the historic Castello di
Casole, which Carla describes as “a
peaceful, enchanting place, just
perfect for the occasion”.
Once owned by the family of
director Luchino Visconti, who
hosted film stars and jet-setters
there, the tenth-century castle sits
majestically at the end of a cypress-
lined avenue in the village of Casole
d’Elsa, deep in the countryside
between Florence and Siena.
The venue was kept secret from
the guests until the last moment,
which contributed to the magic.
Another closely guarded secret
was revealed as the sun was setting,
when a radiant Carla arrived on the
arm of her father Raul.
Dressed in a custom silk-muslin
gown created by Dior’s chief
designer Maria Grazia Chiuri in
Paris and delicately embroidered
with Swarovski crystals, she couldn’t
have looked lovelier.
“I love my dress and I hope that
when Diego sees me he lovesit
as much as I do,” the bridesaid
ahead of the three daysof
festivities, which began with an
