Data
A brain for the brawn
Ferrari chassis electronics the best in the
business. New Side Slip Angle Control 6.1
and Dynamic Enhancer let you really drive
and maximise the F8’s potential, even to the
point of power-on oversteer, with the feeling
you’re doing it all yourself. Can still feel
jerky if you lift the throttle on track to initiate
movement, but there’s little need to switch
everything off on the road.
Chassis and steering really quite good
Suspension is essentially the same as
discontinued 488 GTB, but it feels slightly
firmer. Still, its compliance and composure
over tricky topography is key in building driver
confidence. Front end not as sharp as the
Pista’s, though. Steering is spot on: quick ratio
with meaningful weight, no matter how tiny
your input, is key to precision feel.
