Chapter 15 Evaluation and Rehabilitation Options for Orthopedic Disorders of the Pelvic Limb 403
accurate interpretation of the data. Creative
problem solving will direct the treatment plan.
Successful treatment is based on knowledge of
soft tissue physiology and joint mechanics,
superb manual skills, a solid understanding of
modalities and their effect, and a methodical
approach to therapeutic exercise. Constant re-
evaluation and modification of the treatment
plan is necessary to maximize the efficiency of
recovery.
