The National Malleefowl Recovery Team
The National Malleefowl Recovery Team aims to maximise the long-term survival
of Malleefowl in the wild. We achieve this by implementing actions set out in the
Malleefowl Recovery Plan that are designed to stop the decline, and support the
recovery, of Malleefowl. The Team has members representing a wide range of
interests, including scientists, community groups, government and other agencies.
There are members from ACT, New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria and
Western Australia.

Threatened Species Scientific Committee
The Threatened Species Scientific Committee is an independent committee of
eminent conservation scientists that provides the Minister for the Environment
and Energy with advice on matters relating to listing, conservation and recovery of
threatened species and ecological communities, and listing and abatement of key
threatening processes.

WWF-Australia
WWF is one of the world’s largest and most experienced independent conservation
organisations, with over 5 million supporters and a global network active in more
than 100 countries. WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s
natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with
nature, by conserving the world’s biological diversity, ensuring that the use of
renewable natural resources is sustainable, and promoting the reduction of
pollution and wasteful consumption.
