peace garden, basingstokeWoodscape are proud to be a part of Basingstoke’s War Memorial Park, with Cli on
seats featuring prominently in the long-awaited Peace Garden, opened on 21st
September 2018, the International Day of Peace, commemorating the centenary
of the end of the First World War. The area is home to a number of Peace Plaques
designed by local schoolchildren, along with a sculpture of local surgery pioneer
Sir Harold Gillies.
Woodscape supplied curved timber benches, with the Cli on Seating System
providing a functional yet stylish framing for the main circular area, along with
one of their popular hardwood cubes, custom etched to create a wonderful
entrance marker for the garden.
