influence to take advantage of
devotees. Self-proclaimed spiritual
guru Anand Giri, who was touring
Australia to share his teachings, has
been charged for indecent assault on
two women in Sydney’s Rooty Hill.
Denied bail, he is in custody and set to
appear before the court in June. His
personal website has been removed,
but on his Facebook page he purports
that his mission is to “serve others
and somehow contribute to making
