arlier this month,
Jennifer Aniston was
in the Big Apple to
film her new series
The Morning Show,
but as soon as she left the set,
sources say the star hightailed
it back to her hotel to ensure
she wouldn’t run into her
ex-husband Justin Theroux!
“This was the first time she was
at the same time as Justin sincethey’vesplitandshewas
being extra careful,” says the insider, adding that Jen, 50,
was “strictly business” while in town. She even turned
down invitations to parties that Justin could show up at.
“Of course she was invited to the Met Gala and lots of
Fashion Week events, but she politely declined because
that’s Justin’s scene!”
Though her former hubby, 47, referred to their break-up
as “the most gentle separation” seven months after
announcing their split in February, 2018 – after more than
two years of marriage and nearly seven years together- the insider insists that seeing each other in New York
City would be “totally uncomfortable” for Jennifer.
And since the hunky actor has no plans to rearrange
his schedule to accommodate his ex-wife, Jen isn’t taking
any chances.
“Justin’s obsessed with having his life back in NYC now
and he doesn’t want to cater to anyone, not even Jen,”
continues the insider. “He does whatever he wants. No
more bodyguards, no fuss, just his old life. Justin doesn’t
really care if she’s around or not. He’s still going to go to
his favourite places and not worry about her plans.”
