Things reached a dramatic
low in January last year, after
Kit was kicked out of a New
York bar following a drunken
brawl – and it wasn’t the first
(or last) time Kit was seen
intoxicated in public.
As Game Of Thrones became
a monster success around the
globe, it’s been revealed Kit
suffered frequent panic
attacks over his inability to
handle the spotlight. That’s
when he turned to booze to
help lift his spirits.
“He was in a bad place for
a long, long time and spent
most – if not every – night
totally out of his head,”

“Partying or heavy drinking
became Kit’s way of self-
medicating, basically, and
numbing his feelings.

day that he had one hell
