The Indianapolis Children’s Museum and within
it the the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends
Experience.
Now this place is awesome and actually kinda
makes you wish you were still a kid. It combines
much of the local areas rich sports history, along
with physical fitness, and health education in a
variety of family, indoor and outdoor experiences.
You can run, jump, putt, drive, and play in over
seven acres of family fun and yes there is even a
drag strip like Raceway Park and a Speedway like
IMS so you will still be well within the theme of
the month. Everything is very hands on and its a


great way to blow of steam as well for the younger
members of your travelling team.
There are a total of 12 outdoor sports
experiences 3 indoor sports exhibits, including
the National Art Museum of Sport on site Trained
coaches and Live portrayals of legendary Indiana
sports figures.
A General Admission ticket provides access
to the Riley Sports Legends Experience and The
Children’s Museum. The Sports Experience Evening
tickets provide access to all 12 outdoor sports
experiences, and the three indoor sports exhibits.
Looking at some of the outdoor fun things they
include Basketball, Football, Hockey, Soccer the
already mentioned Drag Strip and Oval Raceway
there is even golf featuring 18 complete holes
along with Baseball and Tennis to name just some
of the outdoor fun things. It doesn’t stop there
either and inside host a array of hands on learning
and fun things for everyone.

If you need public transport IndyGo buses stop
at the museum daily. Routes 18, 19, 28, 30, 38, and
39 serve the museum directly.
Parking you own car well its free on site as well.
