big welcome once again to you all.

Well this is a big issue for us at Race Control it marks one year since Issue 1

arrived on the scene and the idea becoming a reality. At the time it seemed

like it could never be done but with advice help and assistance from the core

team that support this idea project and passion we have clocked up one full year and our

objective moving forward is simply sharing the word of Race Control and the IndyCar Series

with you all.

Race Control magazine really is the worlds only true IndyCar fan magazine and for that

we feel we are bringing something to you the reader and fan of the sport something

quite special. We thank you for becoming a reader of even one issue that we publish to

experience what we love to create. Our journey has a ways to go yet thats for sure and

we have really only just got started but we feel there is a place for us in the market just as

there is for a new race team and we have points to prove just like they do as well so as they

say “enjoy the ride with us”.

month of May already and we all know what that means. It’s it May yet ha it’s 500 time. We

have a host of Indy related sections in this issue to get you in the mood for the big race.

season but man on man COTA took it up another notch as well and our cover man Colton

Herta made sure everyone knew that the new breed has arrived in town. Only three races

in to his career and he claimed a win and became the youngest driver to do so as well.

Onwards to round three at the superb Barber venue and along comes Sato so what a great

start to the new season and thats just in the main game. In 2019 Race Control magazine is

extending its coverage to include all there classes in the Road to Indy championships and

well there are all going to great events in their own rights thats for sure.

and kicking and we will be adding to the growing list of content on it during May as well.

There is an ever growing collection of material to suit all fans there along with our “uncut

collection. This will expand heavy during May so expect to see a lot more content getting

loaded up on the channel in the coming months as we aim to add to your following of Race

Indy 2019 will provide dram like no other with the chances of someone you least expect

maybe not making the show as a great number of cars and teams attempt to make this

years race. The series is in great shape right now and with talks again of one or maybe even

two more engine suppliers in the wind it’s a sign of all the hard work thats gone on behind

the scenes to make this series work. Well done to Indy Car.

more can he go back to back during the 500 again, the Indy gods will decide his fate but

he’s certainly not one to count out by any means.
