in a matte or shimmer finish. For

evening, take glitzy shades

right up to the brow bone.

NUDE MOOD

With lids the centre of attention

at LFW, lips were decidedly

dialled-down, with just a hint of

“my lips but better” nude shades

delicately applied. Whether it

was the barely-there neutrals at

Ports 1961 or the subtle blush

stains at Delpozo, the message

WET WORK

Embracing the quintessential

rainy British weather, this

season’s hair is wet-look and

pushed back. Irrespective of your

hair length, texture or type, you

now have full permission to slack

off and slick back. This style starts

and ends at the roots, so once

hair is nearly dry, roughly run

a styling paste through to the

mid-lengths, not an inch further.

Tousle it back off the face and

leave the ends out or secured at

the nape of the neck. Just don’t

be too fussy – stray tendrils and

curls are par for the course. Finish

with a high-shine hairspray and

get the early train to work. >
