Looking like a modern update on an oil
lamp, this speaker delivers crystal clear
(sorry) sound in 360 degrees using similar
technology to Sony’s brilliant ‘Acoustic
Surface’ system on its TVs. The entire
glass tube at the top acts as the tweeter,
vibrating to create detailed audio. That’s
paired with a 35mm mid-range driver and
bass radiator for big sound at the lower
end. You can change the brightness of the
light, and it has a ‘candlelight’ flickering
mode, plus eight-hour battery life, and
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
