O^3 Secure the horizontal brace
Turn over the door so the exterior side
faces up. Cut to size a length of decking
pine for the horizontal door brace.
Measure and mark the centre of the
door frame sides. Secure the brace in
position using adhesive and then clamp,
using an ofcut to protect the brace
from the clamp’s jaws. Stand the door
upright and secure with screws inserted
through the back, making sure not
to go right through. Repeat for the
second door.

O^4 Cut the diagonal braces
Place a length of decking pine from
one top corner to the opposite lower
corner of the upper door panel. Use
a straightedge to mark the position,
and cut. Repeat the process for the
lower door panel. Secure the diagonal
braces in position using adhesive and
then clamp, using ofcuts to protect
the braces. Stand the door upright and
secure with screws inserted through
the back, making sure not to go right
through. Repeat for the second door.

O^5 Secure the floor and walls
Measure and cut the looring and
secure in place with nails. Measure
the door supports and cut two lengths
of decking pine to it either side of the
door. Apply adhesive and secure in
place using screws. Predrill holes at
each end of the tapered, top edge of
each shingle for the nails, to prevent the
wood from splitting. Using a spirit level,
nail the shingles into the shed frame,
starting at the bottom and overlapping
the tapered edges.
