With its clusters of repeat-lowering,
sweetly scented lowers atop lime- to
deep-green foliage, Daphne ‘Eternal
Fragrance’ is a wonderful addition to
any garden. It is repeat lowering, with
a fabulous display in spring and spot
lowering throughout the year.
Perfect for small gardens, patios and
courtyards, ‘Eternal Fragrance’ makes
a stunning low hedge or border plant
and can be planted beneath open tree
canopies. Its compact growth habit also
makes it ideal for containers.
Unlike other daphnes, it thrives in
full sun as well as part shade. It is frost
hardy and dry tolerant and grows to
a height of 60cm and spreads to 90cm.
Once established, its water needs are
low and only occasional deep watering
is required in periods of extended heat.
Plant ‘Eternal Fragrance’ in a
well-drained position. Lightly trim and
feed with a slow-release fertiliser in
summer to keep it in shape and healthy.
