LEGS
- Prepare the legs
Cut the four legs to equal lengths
using the 64 x 19mm dressed pine,
making them any height you like. Kara
made hers 1.2m long, as the timber
came in 2.4m lengths – it just meant
cutting the two lengths in half.
On each end of the legs, mark and cut
a semicircle using a jigsaw so the ends
are rounded. he Ryobi One+ 18V jigsaw
Kara used for this task is ideal because it
can easily go around curved edges, plus
you can adjust the speed so you can be
more precise with your cuts. It also has
an integrated LED light for workpiece
illumination and an inbuilt dust blower
to ensure a clear view of the cutting line.
Sand the edges of the cuts for
a smooth inish, top and bottom.
The Ryobi jigsaw was ideal for
rounding the ends of the legs.
