ETHANOL
Fireplaces that run on reillable ethanol
create an impressive orange lame
and can look impressive and modern.
However, they don’t emit as much heat
as a wood or gas ireplace.
Ethanol, also known a bioethanol,
biofuel or eco-fuel, is an alcohol that
creates no toxic emissions and does
not need to be vented.

Usually, an ethanol ireplace is
portable and can be transported
between rooms. hey even come as
wall-mounted devices, but these are
mostly decorative. Freestanding ethanol
ireplaces are the simplest to install.
Tabletop ethanol burners and some
freestanding models are banned in
Australia because they lack important
safety features.
