I remember seeing the airplane and taking a bunch of pictures; I was just so struck by
the presence of the plane sitting there. And then you start looking into its performance,
and you sit in the cockpit and get familiar with the systems design and what it’s really
going to be like fl ying the aircraft, and it just seemed like a natural fi t for me – and, of
course, my wife loved it too!
The engineers have done an incredible job. I really appreciate the Phenom 300’s
modern design, and it just strikes me – week after week, month after month, as I own
the plane – how well-thought-through things are: from how the redundancy works, to
where things are placed, to the CAS messaging system when you have things that you
need to work through in fl ight.
I have a lot of confi dence getting in the airplane. The performance of the Phenom 300
is just second to none. It’s the big est single-pilot machine you can fl y in the sky, and
I really like that.”
