Power and Water Matters

N

aturally, the M4 comes with both 240
and 12-volt electrical systems and
although mains power points aren’t
prolific, there are enough of them. A single 12 V
100 AH battery is located under the rear seat,
along with mains charger and 12 V fuse panel.
A little surprisingly the 12V fuses were well
labelled – not always a common occurrence in
the RV industry. Also under the rear seat is the
Girard instantaneous hot water heater, but the
downside is there’s no space for anything else.

Given the 100-litre water tank and lack of a
solar panel, the M4 really couldn’t be used
for more than a couple of days in a remote
location.

What I Think

T

he Unicampa M4 might be something of
a basic motorhome with a plain interior,
but it does have all the essentials the
current generation of motorhomers have
come to expect, including a decent amount of
storage space both inside and out.

Having a ‘wet’ bathroom won’t please everyone, but like
the rest of the vehicle it’s simple and straightforward.
