Renault’s Koleos now has
another string to its bow with
autonomous emergency braking
included as standard, joining
only a handful of other brands
that can offer the safety-boosting
technology range-wide in the
mid-sized SUV segment. Drivers
of the Koleos now have an extra
line of defence against the classic
nose-to-tail as well as avoiding

pedestrian and cyclist collisions
with audible and visual
warnings when a potential
hazard is detected, followed by
emergency braking intervention
if the driver does not react. The
deal is further enhanced with
the inclusion of Apple CarPlay
as part of the update for no extra
cash, with the entry-level Life
price unchanged at $29,990.
