CHRISSY TEIGEN
Keeping
U
nlike some celebrities who hide
away post-pregnancy until their
bodies are back in picture-perfect
shape, mum of two Chrissy Teigen
has documented most every aspect
of life with a new baby—Miles Theodore,
born May 17—and a toddler—
Luna Simone, 2—best summed
up by a June 4 Instagram post
of a makeup-free Teigen
cradling Miles while watching
Luna play. She captioned it,
“Guess we’re really doing this
kid thing!”
For Teigen, 32, getting on with life while
juggling parenting and her career as a TV
personality and cookbook author seems to be
about not sweating the small stuff: prioritising
date nights with Grammy-winning husband
John Legend, 39, and days out with Luna,
even if it means pap shots of her with a
post-baby belly and looking a little worn.
In fact, theLip Synch Battlehost, who has
made public her struggles with
IVF and post-natal depression ,
appears to use the mundane
nature of it all as grist for her
humourmill, commenting on her
stay-at-home boredom, posting
pics of stretch marks and oversharing in a May
19 tweet why her son has one-upped her
daughter: “I can confirm postpartum life is 90
per cent better when you don’t rip to your
butthole.”■
The mum-of-two celebrates the good and the gritty
“Motherhood
has so many
emotions”
Referencing comedian
Ali Wong, “#asianpear-
underwear,” is how
Teigen described her
post-partum pants on
May 21, four days after
Miles’s birth.
“My heart is
now outside
of my body,”
Teigen wrote on
Mother’s Day.
Teigen looked
comfortably
stylish on a
June 5 lunch
date with
Legend in
Beverly Hills.
“You heard how
cool we are ...
and wanted to
see what all the
fuss was about,”
wrote Teigen of
why Miles came
three weeks
early. “Well
we tricked
u! We are
boring AF.”
“First post-Miles date
night!” Legend wrote
on May 28, to which,
Teigen commented,
“pumpin tiiiiime.”
