Everybody loves a serious racing game. One
where you jump into the racing seat, tinker
with your car’s engine, and try and nail
each corner as you race all the way to the
chequered flag. But sometimes you just want
to have fun. You want to push the accelerator
all the way to the ground, do some massive
jumps, ram your opposition into obstacles
and use heaps of boost. Right?!
Well what if you could have both?
Onrush is a full-on arcade racing game.
You’re as likely to smash through a house
and jump off its roof as try to corner aroundit. You’re not just racing cars, but buggies,
bikes and other off-road vehicles in the same
race! And if an opponent rams you, you could
explode! But don’t worry, you just pop back up
into the middle of the race so you can keep on
going.
Yet this is a game made by Codemasters,
legends of the racing genre. These guys make
some of the most realistic racing titles we’ve
ever seen. What this means is that OnRush
offers all the craziness and fun of an arcade
racing game like Trackmania, MotorStorm or
Burnout, but the handling and controls of DirtGAME: ONRUSH
