Surprise, surprise – well not
really – but the mighty Pro
Evolution Soccer is back
for another year. We’ve just
received the first batch of
screenshots and it’s looking
pretty awesome – just check
out this stadium! We’ve been
promised more licensed
stadiums and teams this year,
and deeper campaign play
that brings more strategy
to team management. Each
player has 11 new skills
to help make them more
unique, too, including things
like edge turn, no look pass,
control loop, dipping shot and
rising shot.
Out of nowhere, Nintendo
has announced a new game
for the Switch. It’s called Go
Vacation, and as you can see
from this exciting looking
screenshot, it involves
surfing! There are four
different resorts to explore
on foot, on horseback or even
on snowmobile. Across these
there are over 50 activities to
try out, including kayaking,
sky-diving, beach volleyball,
tennis and even snowball
fights. We’re told there will be
lots of customisation options
and multiplayer modes, too.
It’s out in late July.
We’re really excited about
this neon-coloured indie
first-person shooter. For
starters, each level is
randomly generated and
has a big boss at the end
to fight, so you never know
what to expect. Secondly,
even though you only have
one gun, there are 150 add-
ons you can collect as you
play, so you can customise
it in a tonne of super weird
ways. Finally there are
abilities to unlock as you go
through each playthrough.
That’s a lot of variation
to experiment with, and
doesn’t it look unique!
