Note that many museums, galleries and some
other attractions are closed on Mondays, while
the market halls are closed on Sundays.
It isn’t customary in Hungary to leave money
on the table to tip waiting staff at the end of
a meal. Instead, if you wish to tip, tell staff the
sum when they bring the bill. Also be aware that
saying “thank you” when passing over payment
implies you don’t want any change.
