Previous to his present role at Grand
Plaza Movepick Media City, Karim
Shawky was the director of rooms at
Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait (formerly
the Hotel Missoni) for four years,
where he oversaw the rooms division,
engineering and security.
To be part of the pre-opening team and to
lead the rooms division operation of the
most prestigious hotel in Media City, he
