Thepartnership will see IHG
participate in curriculum development
across Sommet Education’s portfolio
of bachelor’s and master’s degree
programmes by providing case
studies for business projects and key
note speakers during the courses
and for graduation ceremonies.

Institute brings “fi rst ever” Swiss-Certifi ed
UAE National Diploma to the UAE

TMi Switzerland Dubai has
formally agreed with the Hotel
and Tourism Management
Institute (HTMi) Switzerland to bring
Swiss educational programmes and
experiences to the UAE’s hospitality
and tourism sector.

The HTMi Switzerland Dubai
campus will provide facilities
and courses for both Emirati and
international students.
According to a statement from
HTMi Switzerland Dubai, the courses
will have Swiss accreditation, and

training will centre on the UAE’s bid
to become the world’s number one
tourist destination by 2020.
Emirati graduate studies
commence in summer with HTMi’s
Diploma course in Hospitality
Management, which according to
a statement, is the first ever Swiss-
Certified UAE National Diploma.
In August 2019, the institute
will also launch the Diploma in
International Hotel and Tourism
Management, Higher Diploma in
International Culinary Arts and
Diploma in Restaurant Management
programmes.
H.E. Ahmad Bin Byat, managing
partner of HTMi Switzerland Dubai,
said: “Our training focuses on the
future of hospitality in the region.”
