SHAFIK ALAAEDDINE, GM OF SHAZA HOTELS’
SHARJAH COLLECTION BY MYSK
Shaza Hotels has appointed Shafik Alaaeddine as the general
manager for the Sharjah Collection by Mysk. Alaaeddine has
several years’ experience in hotel management and will
be responsible for enhancing “unique” guest experiences.
He has worked with several other Shaza Hotels in various
capacities and countries across the MENA.

CORNELIA MITLMEIER, FOUR SEASONS BEIRUT
HOTEL MANAGER
The Four Seasons Hotel Beirut hired Cornelia Mitlmeier as
hotel manager. Mitlmerier joins the property from the Ritz-
Carlton, Tokyo where she was executive assistant manager.
Previously, she held senior positions with the Ritz-Carlton,
Almaty and the Adlon Kempinski Berlin, including several
other hotels across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

HESHAM ABDALLA, F&B CLUSTER DIRECTOR AT
THREE ABU DHABI HOTELS
Hesham Abdalla is now the cluster director of F&B
of Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi
Downtown and Kingsgate Abu Dhabi. Abdalla, who has
more than 15 years’ experience, will oversee all catering
operations, including event planning and event execu-
tion acvross the three properties.

JAYA RAJ, DIRECTOR OF REVENUE AND
DISTRIBUTION ASCOTT LIMITED FOR THE MENA
International serviced residence owner-operator The
Ascott Limited has appointed Jaya Raj as director of
revenue & distribution for the Middle East, Africa and
Turkey. With more than 15 years’ experience, Raj will
oversee the regional revenue management and distribu-
tion strategy and manage day-to-day yield operations.

KHALIL SROUR, HOTEL MANAGER OF
SWISS-BELRESIDENCES JUFFAIR BAHRAIN
Swiss-Belhotel International hired Khalil Srour as hotel
manager for Swiss-Belresidences Juffair Bahrain. Srour
began his career in Australia in 1992 at the Mercure
Hotel Ultimo, Sydney, where he held several managerial
positions. Swiss-Belhotel International said that Srour
will provide an enhanced experience to travellers.

AMERY BURLEIGH, GM AT MÖVENPICK HOTEL
JUMEIRAH BEACH
Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach has appointed Amery
Burleigh, an American national, as general manager.
Burleigh joins the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach after
six years as general manager of Sofitel Gold Coast Broad-
beach, Australia where she was the first female appointed
general manager for the Sofitel Brand in Australia.

MICHAEL JABBOUR, GM OF IHG’S HOLIDAY INN
SALMIYA, KUWAIT
Intercontinental Hotel Group’s Holiday Inn Salmiya in
Kuwait has appointed Michael Jabbour as the property’s
general manager. Jabbour, who is a Lebanese national,
has 24 years’ experience in hospitality management,
having worked for a number of hotel chains across the
Middle East and the GCC.

at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum.Aiman Roujouleh, vice
president of sales for the Middle East & Turkey, said:
