SLEDHEADS
(^174)
Never did I expect to be hooking up to a skidder. Sometimes the adventure to the snow park
can get a little hairy.

Last year my cousin snow-checked a Summit
850 so we went for an early season ride in Whis-
tler, BC, to break it in. We stopped for a break
after about an hour (still 92 percent left on the
break-in) and Tyler told me to hop on and take
it for a spin. Coming off an ’09 Summit, I wasn’t
used to the nimbleness of the new Ski-Doo.
I made it about 100 feet until I oversteered
and drove the $18,000 machine straight into a
tree, breaking an intake, some plastics and the
brake line, as well as bending the handlebars.
Let’s just say he probably won’t be letting me
help break-in his sled.
