The renowned Three Bear Lodge has been a beloved destina-
tion for generations of Yellowstone visitors from all over the world.
Three Bear Lodge was originally built in 1932 and is ideally situated
near the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
Fire has twice forced the Three Bear Lodge to rise from the
ashes. Following a blaze in 2008, the surviving materials from the
lodge were carefully preserved and repurposed in the reconstruc-
tion. Rustic reclaimed wood and stones were handcrafted into
unique fixtures and furnishings that adorn the foyer, hallways, mas-
sive fireplace and every guest-room.
For over 40 years, Three Bear Lodge has been a hub for sled
rentals as well as guided and unguided snowmobile tours just out-
side of Yellowstone. There are also guided snowmobile and snow-
coach tours inside the National Park; including daily excursions in
historic Bombardier snowcoaches which have taken visitors to Old
Faithful through the snow for decades.
